Salt Lake City has always been my home. I have hiked the surrounding trails, enjoyed the ski resorts, and kept a boat at Lake Powell, even hang glided at the Point of the Mountain. This area offers more "quality of life" opportunities for a resident than almost all of the U.S. cities I have had the opportunity to visit.
Linda and I make our home in the Upper Avenues above Downtown Salt Lake City. We raised four boys and have one granddaughter that we are working feverously to spoil rotten.

After 20 years of experience as a national marketing and sales director for a $28 billion dollar company I decided to stop traveling so much and settle into a career that I already loved....Real Estate.
I started RE/MAX Advantage in 2002 which later merged with RE/MAX Canyons. We are currently one of the largest real estate brokerages in Utah. This critical mass provides additional services to our clients that smaller boutique brokers cannot provide. The company has retained the "Canyons" name because most of the homes we sell are on the east side (near the canyons). We cater to full time experienced real estate agents.
My business has gravitated to luxury home sales because I have a strong network of friends and acquaintances in this demographic that have referred business to me. This has provided me with the business foundation to increase services, which creates even more referrals.
I also currently serve as the President for Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity, a cause that I am passionate about.
In 2004 I became a founding member of The Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialists (CLHMS), which is now a national organization devoted to providing the highest standards in marketing luxury homes.

The pulse of the luxury market in Salt Lake City changes rapidly. Values can swing dramatically. If you are considering a home purchase above $600,000, a luxury agent is your best asset in a very important transaction-- even if you wish to use someone else I would still suggest you use a CLHMS agent.

Many of my clients are relocating to the area. This site is designed to provide information in a format that is 2 inches deep and a mile in diameter (like an oil slick) or 2 inches in diameter and a mile deep (like an oil well). The content was gathered to allow the visitor the abilty to collect information by getting a "general idea" or a "specific focus".
Many of my relocation clients ask about areas by "community" not city. This is the only local Luxury site that provides an opportunity to investigate communities that are steeped in charm and history (I am certain my affection for these areas and the history behind them will show through).
