The New Cottonwood Mall

Originally known as Spring Creek, this bedroom community is currently undergoing extensive changes. Many of the post WWII homes are being renovated or leveled all together to make room for new luxury homes. Small Planned Unit Developments (PUD's) are also cropping up on ground that was dedicated to small orchards.

This is a highly sought after location for many reasons:
- Smaller class sizes and good schools.
- Central Valley location.
- Many homes are very affordable for the Eastside.

Holladay roughly encompasses an area from 4500 South to 6800 South and 1300 East to I215 (about 7 square miles). The area was named Holladay in 1911 after an early settler John Holladay  who made his home on Walker Lane (still a very exclusive neighborhood with million dollar homes). This estate had Utah's first private swimming pool.
