The Avenues consists of older historic homes located just slightly northeast of downtown Salt Lake City.  Heading east the streets are progressive with the alphabet up to "U" (although the next street is Virginia street, representing the "V.")  As you head north in the Avenues the streets are progressively numbered avenues up to 18th Avenue.  Homes located in the lower Avenues 1 through 5 were built in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The homes become newer moving up the hill with 12th Avenue homes built in the 1930's.

If you love an eclectic mix of of charming homes this is the place for you. Typical home prices start at about $350k and can climb to $1-$2 Million. Cost per square foot ranges from $180-$280 per square foot.
